3. When detecting,swing the search coil gently from side to side,slightly overlapping each sweep as you move forward. Keep your search coil approximately 1-2 inches above the ground as you search.
4. Raising the search coil during the sweep,or at the ends of your sweep,can cause false readings.
5. Move the search coil slowly;hurrying will cause you to miss targets.
6. It’s better you sweep the search coil from side to side in an arc line of 3 inches and keep it parallel with the ground.
